Week 7 & 8
The term draws to a close today. Its been a really fast Term 1. I dont even know that it has ended! maybe i was playing too much during the term. hahaha...
Week 7
2 individual assignments due - CRM and UCCD. Spent nearly the whole week doing up and touching up on my work, stayed back until 5.30pm on 2 days before the assignment was due just to do it, as well as MA.
MA lecture that week was turned into a library lecture. Wasted my time going there because none of the 7 of us won anything, and in addition we could've used the time to do our individual assignments.
Speaking of MA, the banking side turned to my side for help as they were clueless as what they would do for the following Monday's presentation. Kelvin asked about the calculation of the GDP Deflator 2004 as the data isnt readily found online. wendy and i took 15min to explain to him and i wonder if he get the idea? Matthew asked the same question as well but it seems that he understand it faster or he got a rough idea of it. Melissa asked me to do a crash course on data mining and of course i guided her on how to obtain everything from WDI Online. still got other people asking around also.. seems like we will never understand MacroEconomic Analysis until we finish the module at the end of the year.
Week 8
Its MA fever until yesterday! MA the whole week without much of a concern that RWPS test was on Tuesday. haha.. The banking side had their MA presentation on monday. and judging from what kelvin said during lunch, it seems that during the presentation, only the presenting group is present in the lab, and the audience is Ambrose Miranda himself.
Skipped BFI lecture on Tuesday just to do MA. did 2.5hours of work of that. at least there has been some progress somewhere somehow. but at some point in time i dont know what we're doing.. hahaha...
MA lecture up next at 12pm. Its the funniest MA lecture ever! this is partly because Ambrose just came back from Reservist and u know what army people talk: crap! lolz.. RWPS test next. my RWPS group sat in the direction of the Ambrose lab so that we can spy on the presenations. Frankly speaking i dont really understand what they are presenting. The charts seems a little different from what we are doing somehow.
During the test huiying asked for my RWPS Practice Test model answers as they are having RWPS test the next day. went down to pass it to her and huijun just before CRM. Guess what lesson they were having? JUNE LIN! lolz.. apparantly she thought that i would supply them with her model answers again but its model answers of a different module. (i supplied them model answers for FA tutorial 6 the previous week) lol...
Had BFI Fieldwork Briefing on Wednesday. this is when the whole class discuss when to meet for projects and what nots and what nots.. and with that, this is my schedule for my term break next week:
Monday - ECM
Tuesday - BFI
Wednesday - free
Thursday - CRM
Friday - UCCD
ok guys. u saw that. the Monday part. Dont worry i'll try to make sure that our mahjong **aherm** swimming session will carry on on Monday.
We did MA until 8pm that day, partly due to things that hasnt been finalised and we also need to do up the script so that we wont blabber rubbish during the presentation. took the train home instead of the bus cos 105 takes ages to come at night. haha..
Yesterday my group came at 8am to prepare MA. Came 10min late thanks to CATHOLIC JUNIOR COLLEGE STUDENTS who sardine the buses at Toa Payoh Central, and also the 153 took so long to come. i should've taken 105 direct instead. reached school at 8.10am. yah we meet early to settle the final parts of MA.
We were the last group to present MA. Overall the presentation was rather up to Amrbose expectations but it seems like he dont really care what we're presenting, partly because this is the nth time he's seeing the charts over and over again. He gave comments on how we can improve our charts and presentations as a whole though..
razif hj jh and me went to play CS at clementi for 2 hours after that as a relaxing activity after the stressful 2 weeks that had past.. lol..
well that wraps up the weeks. No new songs lately as i cannot convert them into a smaller file size for uploading into my geocities server.
