Last Week of 2004: Meet the People's Session
this post is about how i close the year 2004 with my friends.. not some PAP meet the people's session.. lol...
Tuesday 28th Dec 2004:
Function: Meridian JC Band Concert
Place: Victoria Concert Hall
met up with Yuto and JY at Dover MRT after class for the show. We caught up with each other on how we're doing in SP on the 106 bus ride. We got off at City Hall and went for dinner at Raffles City. Got Dawn some purple flowers and chocolates as requested. lol.. We then headed for the concert. And boy the concert was amazing! I felt the MJC spirit right smack in the heart of the seating! and one thing i must say its better than the SR concert i went earlier in the year. hehee... maybe because i was a former meridian? lol...
Yuto left during the interval after we 3 gave Dawn her stuff and took picture with her. Back to the show and of course the finale was not to be missed! er should i say the encore? SR's encore was the last item. MJ's encore? DOREMON theme! :D nice try guys. Oh yah we caught with tiffany during the interval. long time no see her. she even had a stead from her own cca. laughers.. The concert ended promptly at 2130 hrs and JY and left straightaway.
Thursday 30th Dec 2004:
Function: Meridian JC Regulus 2 Year-End Outing
Place: Dhoby Ghaut area
Its been ages since i met those guys, especially laureen and benjy! =) We met up at Dhoby Ghaut (yah same as the March outing) speaking of which i didnt blog the march outing.. ah nvm.. attendence was laureen benjy yuto daryl li shuang charmaine simin angela and dawn in the order they met me. Bonus: simin's stead who's one year younger. hmmmm...
We went for pool at S'pore Shopping Ctr and with simin's help we booked a table after a long wait. Well we killed time while waiting by playing arcade! weeeeee... after an hour of pool (make that 50 min) we chipped over to Cartel for dinner at ps. and that's where the real catching up starts. we talk cock, caught up with things and what nots. a good meeting actually. queued up for like 25 min and stayed in the place for almost 2 hours? lolz..
We left because Benjy and Charmaine needa leave... so ok lor we left. took a group picture and left... and we left in style. most of us (except simin charmaine and simin's stead)took NEL home! the first group comprising Yuto Dawn Li Shuang and me got off at Serangoon, bidding farewell to the rest (Benjy Laureen Daryl Angela) of which latter 3 got off at Sengkang.
At Serangoon MRT bus stop, the girls split with the boys as they headed east while yuto and i live in the area. It was a good night. Reached home 2335 hrs. Tired but happy.
Friday 31st Dec 2004:
Function: SP Outing
Place: City Hall/Esplanade area
People comprised Dennis me Jun Hong Amber Jiamin and Wendy. Although small grp but we had bits of fun i reckon. We went to book tickets for Kung Fu Hustle at Suntec. Time was 1950 hrs and show was 2100 hrs. We had one hour to settle dinner. and finally we settle with..... PASTAMANIA!
Still remembered the time i first went there which was at Tampines. hehee... MJC days yah whatever.. lol.. We caught the show in time eventually and thereafter we went to stroll to Esplanade for the countdown. Too bad the fireworks aint there if not it'd be great.
and of course the countdown was there la... We went home after that... er correction.. its they went home while i do night spotting. lolz.. Thanks guys for coming!
And with that rounds up my outings to close the year 2004.
