Term Break
what term break? bull shit. Project meeting week is more like it. This semester the projects are hell more than those in Year 1, partially because the modules in year 1 are more studying type like Econs, Accounts and Stats. Despite all that, I managed to hunt down my buses during the break. Good achievement but its very exhausting.
Monday
Buses
Initially my targets were the Service 31 VSOs but i changed my plan instead to hunting down the Bedok VSOs instead like Service 9 (2 units) and Service 17 (1 unit). I arrived at Bedok Interchange at 0729hrs, seeing one S9 VSO SBS 9823 J departed just as i arrived. However, that didnt stop me from finding them as I know they will be on the return trip from Changi Cargo Complex. I camped at Bedok Interchange for the S17 VSO, which is estimated to depart Bedok at around 0820hrs.
Bus in question: SBS 9804 P. Took that bus from Bedok to Simei Ave, cross the road and tried camping for SBS 9823 J, Service 9. Guess who came instead? The first of the 2 VSOs on Service 9! SBS 9818 A! Save my time already sia... Took it from Simei Ave to Tenah Merah MRT, camped for 15min and take the second bus: SBS 9823 J back to Bedok.
I need to get home because my Mahjong Kakis are coming at 11am. To my surprise, SBS 9849 K 25 came to find me! Save my trouble also. Waited for around 15min and took it to Eunos MRT. I was supposed to transfer to S93/S966 back to Toa Payoh but another surprise came along instead: SBS 9682 Z 51! ok fine.. since it came, I took it to Hougang Ave 3, and then transferred to S153 back to Toa Payoh Central.
Time now is 1100hrs
Friends
As usual Jieying was late. Hanjie and Kelvin had to wait for her. They came to my place and play mahjong. Till lunch time at around 1445hrs. We wanted to go down for lunch but decided for Pizza Hut instead. Played somemore after that, all the way till dinner time.
My mom fried rice for them to eat. i scooped for them. yah what a nice host. lolz.. after dinner we played and chatted about stuff at the same time, with u-know-who leading the way. lolz..
We finished off at 11pm. Send them off at the Interchange. Hanjie took the last bus of Service 8, Jieying took the second last bus of Service 88 while Kelvin took the last bus of Service 157. haha
Tuesday
Buses
Target today is Service 196: SBS 9803 S. I took Service 93 from Braddell Rd down to Queensway at 0755hrs, in the rain. The bus came late, took it and slept on it all the way to Mountbatten Rd. What a nice sleep given the rain and the bus aircon. The seat contour are a plus point as well.
I alighted at Marine Parade Rd (Mandarin Gardens) as its the first stop from Parkway that i need not cross the overhead bridge. Crossed the road, took another 196 back down to Raffles Place for BFI Fieldwork.
Time now is 1020hrs
BFI Fieldwork
Everyone was late. Hanjie was the first to arrive at 1010hrs, I came in second at 1015hrs, Wendy was third with 1020hrs, then came Jiamin at around 1025hrs. Last of all: Mr Lee Junxiao at 1035hrs. How nice.. what is this? Fashion show appearance ah? lolz....
went to UOB Plaza first like tourists in a foreign country. We seemed out of place there as the people around us were working professionals. Snooped around DBS Bank (Raffles Place), HSBC, Standard Chartered and then OCBC before going down to DBS HQ at Shenton Way. tried snapping some photos along the way as well.
We wanted a nice picture of the Financial district so we went to the esplanade rooftop for a shot of it (recall Dennis' picture of that place). A pity that it turned out rather bad thanks to the weather. Marina Centre was our lunch venue after that. Say we had a late lunch at 1.30. lolz..
Off to Toa Payoh HDB Hub via 56. Slept on the bus. What can u get with blasting aircon and a nice midday rain? A good sleep! snapped the banks there as well before proceeding to my place to do up the report.
Report-doing turned Mahjong session followed suit. Seems like i suffer from hangover from the previous day. and yah my mom fried noodles for everyone to eat. continued somemore mahjong till 10pm.
As per the previous day i sent them off at the bus stops before i went back home.
Wednesday
Buses
Service 30's 3 buses are up for grabs. Got down to Kent Ridge at 8am and waited for it. sadly, i got the 2nd of the 3 buses towards Bedok. This means that i need to return to hunt for the first one on Thursday. Got down at HarbourFront from the second one. Boarded the third one some 13min later and alighted at Old Airport Rd. Reason being that i need to rush back to SP for a 10am meeting with my ECM group.
Took 32 transfer 106 at City Hall area. Got to school at 1015hrs.
ECM
Met Liling and Matthew at fc6. Had breakfast before going to the library. Saw another ECM grp there hard at work. Did some research and realised i'm very tired. Matthew then delegate work for us to do before we go home, rest and do our own work.
I stayed behind for a little while to check on the bus forums, settle com admin stuff before finding buses since its still early. I took the chance of sleeping in the bus. lolz..

Since i did not get the 1st bus of service 30, i went to find him today. Got him, took it to HarbourFront and waited for the second bus. Although i've taken the second bus but i'm trying my luck to see whether the permenent bus for that time slot is back. The bus i took the previous day was a replacement bus. However, it failed. Alighted at Tg Katong Rd, made my way to Amber Rd for a zip ride down to SP, caught up some sleep as well.
Time now is 1020hrs.
CRM
Everyone is late. some princess got into the lab at the library at 1040hrs. I wonder who's so dua pai.. hahahaa...
In short, came up with the survey, did a little research, showed Andrew Ang with comments thereafter.
Did all these till 5pm. Tired and shag after that.

My lovely Service 31 is up for grabs. I chose Friday because i can take the opportunity to wake up a bit later because the bus leaves at Toa Payoh at 8am. lolz.. Took the bus from there to Tg Katong Rd, cross the road, waited and took the second one back to Toa Payoh. Its off to school from there.
Time now is 1015hrs.
UCCD
Today's latecoming isnt that problematic. Bendino 1010hrs. Wendy and me 1015hrs. Amber and Jun Hong 1024hrs.
Went to SALC to do UCCD. Delegate work and off we're doing. I'm doing.... introduction? :p managed to do finish before lunch. lolz..
Bendino left after lunch, left the 4 of us. Continued doing our work after that. Did work until 3.50pm before we decided to retire for the day.
