Ever since..

Ever since my TV made a comeback to my room 3 weeks ago, the SCV set-up box also made its way there soon after that.

and with that i've been sleeping at 2am or 3am by watching shows from scv and also from free-to-air.

Programmes would include
Get Real (CNA)
Friends 9 (Ch 5)
Friends 6 (Star World)
Apprentice 2 (Star World)
American Idol 4 (Star World)
Whose Line is It Anyway (Ch 5)
Morning Call (CNBC)
Power Lunch (CNBC)
Street Signs (CNBC)
Closing Bell (CNBC) -- if i'm still awake at 3am

My addiction for watching CNBC returns after a 2 year hiatus. I can still remember back then in 2001 i sleep very late during the holidays just to watch the US markets move up down and the movers and shakers that may impact the following day's trade in the Asia and Europe. In the day I would watch the Asia and European programmes whenever the set-up box is available.

I regard this as more of an interest than just watching tv. At first i do not know what the reporters are talking and analyzing about. But as time goes on I starting to get a grasp of what the market is moving at.

Take for example DJIA, Nasdaq and S&P shot up more than 100 points on Wednesday due to news coming out from a certain company which i cant remember, or that oil prices went down.

This comes down to why i chose the FT option at DBF. I was considering working along this line. haha..

Now watching Power Lunch - The Big Road Show. As its name suggests today's show is shot from Universal Studios, LA, CA. There's interviews with the big 4 broadcasting stations which produces American Idol, Apprentice, Amazing Race etc on how they're planning this coming tv season.

and with that i shall change the blog song to Selena's one.. i think i shall change the song every week.. getting on 2 weeks seems long.. lolz..
