Crazy Joyrides
Today was a bus bus bus day.. woohoo i love it man! It sure feels great to have BCP in your hands. The feeling is utterly great!
I met up with Jack at Toa Payoh Int @12pm, then I needa went home to change my specs. So we took 238 one round - i mean he took one round and zoomed home to change my specs. hehe.. I bought some snacks before we set off (I havent had breakfast yet).
First off - 139. We took it to Jln Toa Payoh, so that we can change 985 to get us to the west. Our first stop was Boon Lay. We stopover at Bt Batok Int for a while to check the new SMRT guides. THere was none. So i dropped off some stuff there. lol..
We continued with our journey on 174. At the junction where JJC is, we saw a VSO on 157. I wanted to take a pic of it. Hence, we alighted, ran to the junction and waited for it. There was a problem. I have to take a offside shot of it as i did not cross the road. With the incoming and outgoing traffic at the junction, it seems harder to take it. Nevertheless, I managed to take a shot of it w/o any obstruction :D
At Boon Lay, i dumped my crap there and took a stack of citibank stuff. There're meant for Toa Payoh Int as the racks there are empty and i wanted it back as a premier exchange centre. We then went to Jurong East via 180 and 335. dump some crap there and of course the next destination was Toa Payoh via Clementi. Since we're going to toa payoh via clementi, how abt dropping by clementi? we eventually went there via 105. Then we attempted to take 154 to Toa Payoh. we waited for so long and we got so fed up that we decided to take 184 to Clementi Rd and take it from there.
We alighted at NP, changed to the next bus behind - 74. It was a mk5. I decided to do my assesment of that bus.. Aircon was above average. Speed isnt that promising and the overall ride was a comfortable one because i slept in it :P
We transferred to 93 at Macritchie. then transferred to 155 at Braddell Rd. We arrived at TPY just when it was about to rain. hehee.. We had lunch there at around 1545 hrs. After that we went to Bedok via 90, 966 and 854. We injected some crap there, spotted a hell lot of cameos, and off to Tampines we went. We were thinking for quite sometime what bus shall we take. We eventually took 168 because it came first. lol.. then transferred to 292 at Tampines Ave 5.
Touchdown Tampines, been there, done that. We checked the TV for good stuff. We saw a mk5 doing 37. ok so we went to take it. We alighted Opp Tampines JC (We went one loop), cross the road and caught 21 to Pasir Ris.
I did the same thing at Pasir Ris. After that I was asking Jack if he saw SBS 3639 P. Why? I wanted to take the bus and also recommend him that bus. As we were in luck, we managed to catch it within 10min. The bad part: It goes the other loop. The loop I wanna recommend him is the Dr 10 loop. Anyway, we boarded the bus and it was a sensational experience. Jack gave it a thumbs up as well :)
We alighted opposite MJC. I was surprised to find out that the stadium is open! haha.. obviously we went in la.. While at the field, I was thinking.. our water in our water bottle was running low. How abt refilling it? HEHE... It comes to my mind that there's a water cooler next to the canteen. laughers.. After refilling, we walked around the notice board there, check for updates. Not much updates though.. ODAC board was clean. lol.. I took some pictures there and off we go. lol.. We took the first bus that came - SBS 2822 H of 81, another mk5. The aircon was the same as 3639 P - fabulous! We sat all the way to Serangoon Interchange.
We transferred to 105 from there. Jack went home on that bus while I went back home to Toa Payoh.
