My First Working Experience
I worked for the 1st time @IT Show 2004 held at Suntec from 11th March to today. My working hours are from 1200 - 2100. However, we needa report vv early on Day 1 so that Challenger can despatch our duties of what to sell. The other 3 days we report directly to the counter that we're i/c of at 1115. On top of that, we're not off at 2100. We were dismissed from work @2145 because of restacking and collating the stuff. Oh yah... I was despatched to sell Xbox with JY. Aaron and Jlo @Palmone while Shalyn @BenQ. Here's a summary topic by topic.
Crowds
Thurs: Because of the offer that the Buy 5 get console free was limited to first 500, everyone chiong down the xbox section. We were so busy until we cannot breathe.. lolz.. However, that statement was invalid when we found out that its only while stocks last. The crowd that came at the opening hours were working personnell. After that, the afternoon crowd of unemployed, aunties and school people set in.. The crowd was so little that we even had time for dinner @1800 hrs! The crowd picked up a little after dinner with young couples and working men dominating the type of people present.
Fri: Some working personnell came down during lunch to check them out. However, the lunchtime crowd wasnt as much as Thur though as everyone thought that the offer is over. lolz... The afternoon crowd was average until after working hours. Xbox booth went back to as busy as it was on Thursday midday as young couples and couples with kids dominate the pack in the evening. We were so busy that we did not even have time for dinner! We had dinner after 2100.
Sat: The crowd starting off slow and steady. The type of people present are generally mixed. We still have time for dinner during our working hours... so that's cool.. =P
Sun: Same as Sat. The only difference was that when the redemption counter announced that there were 90 units left, many people chiong the xbox booth. That was abt 5pm++. The last unit was redeemed @1755 hrs. JY me and a few others were sent to sell HP printers after the offer ended. We ended up going up to the Food Fair after we were sent over but luckily when we got back to the HP counter, we managed to close one deal. lolz... After that we walked around the IT show.. until closing time =P

Thursday: Nasi Goreng Chinese Style with Crab Meat and Mini Chicken pieces
Friday: Yang Chou Fried Rice with Chicken Wing
Saturday: Fried Egg wrapped in Fish with Rice
Sunday: Chicken Curry with Potato, Onion and Rice
I still havent get my pay yet....................=P
